We deliver fresh, healthy meals to our homebound neighbors.
We fight hunger and social isolation among homebound adults in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. Each weekday, volunteers help prepare two fresh, healthy meals and deliver them to clients’ homes with a friendly greeting and wellness check. Our dedicated staff, volunteers, and donors make our program possible. Together, we are creating a more resilient, interconnected, and compassionate community.
We’ve been serving homebound neighbors since 1971 and are celebrating our 55th anniversary in 2026. Each year, we deliver more than 50,000 meals during visits to the homes of over 200 clients who cannot safely shop or cook for themselves due to age, disability, illness, or injury.
We’re an independent, tax-exempt, nonprofit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS. Donations to us are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Visit our Donate page for ways you can support our work.
