This week, Ruth Masterson was honored as a Local Hero by Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin, who recognized her accomplishments as executive director of Meals on Wheels of Takoma Park/Silver Spring. Masterson stepped down at the end of September after leading our Meals on Wheels organization through seven years of rapid growth and innovation, all in service to our homebound neighbors.
